What you'll learn in this kids technology class:
Summer Camp - 3D Printing Design Level 2
For kids who have learned 3D Design before, you will Learn to design something to solve a problem for you and others! This camp will share invention process with you and assist you to design something useful. Individual designs can be 3D printed when camp is booked with extra shipping and handling fee
3D Printing And Design
Using Autodesk Fusion 360 to do basic computer-aided design (CAD) which is used for 3D printing
What Will You Learn?
By enrolling in this class, students will learn the basics of three-dimensional computer aided design as well as basic concepts regarding 3D printing. Students will learn how to use Autodesk Fusion 360 at a basic level to create their own projects, along with other class projects, which can then be 3D printed.
Hardware/Software needed for this course:
- Autodesk Fusion 360 Set Up
Lessons:
- Autodesk Fusion 360 Workshop (Do this before the start of the course)
- Getting Used to Fusion 360
- Copying, Moving, and Scaling A Shape
- Project 1: A personal Keychain
- Saving and Exporting our Project (VERY IMPORTANT)
- Learning About 3D Printers
- The Revolve Tool
- Additional Build Tools
- Project 2: A single Vase
- Project 4: Your Final Project
- Project 3: A Toy Rocket Ship

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
