What you'll learn in this kids cooking class:
Lemonade Stand Part 2: Chocolate Chunk Cookies and Watermelon Lemonade
All kids love a lemonade stand — preparing the treats, selling to their neighbors and friends, and drinking all of the profits. Whether or not they can get out there safely and set up a stand this year, our class will teach your kids everything they need to know to prepare the best tasting lemonade stand of their lives.
In Lemonade Stand Part 2, Kids will expand upon their experience with scratch made lemonade and mix up more flavors, like Watermelon Lemonade and Herb Infused Lemonade. And if soft pretzels weren’t the perfect lemonade accompaniment, no fear - this time they will bake up two dozen Chocolate Chunk Cookies.
Teaching Table will also provide hours of screen-less extension activities for your kids to rock out their best lemonade stand, including pricing worksheets, advertisements and signage, and additional recipes for lemonades and dippers.
Targeted towards kids ages 4-14 with varying degrees of support from adults. Teaching Table will walk you through how to assist and empower your children in the kitchen. Everyone is welcome.
What you need:
- all purpose flour (and, if you have it, whole wheat flour)
- butter
- eggs
- brown sugar
- white, cane or turbinado sugar
- salt
- baking soda
- chocolate chips or chunks
- vanilla extract
- 10 lemons
- sugar
- ice
- strainer
- large pitcher
- mixing bowl
- dough scraper or spatula
- electric hand mixer or stand mixer
- baking sheets
- parchment paper
- measuring cups
- measuring spoons
- optional ingredients for lemonade: berries, watermelon, thyme, mint or basil leaves, ginger root

Refund Policy
For single-session public events or classes or single days within multi-day classes:
- If student cancels 6 business days or more before the class/event start time (or before receiving course materials), student is eligible for a refund (less a 7% processing fee) or a credit (100% of purchase price) towards another class/event.
- If it is within 6 business days of your scheduled event, you can transfer your class to another individual or receive the recording and materials of virtual classes digitally.
- No shows cannot be refunded. Cancelling after the cut off, withdrawing, or failing to attend results in forfeiting the full amount of the class or event fee. With approval of teacher, student may send someone else to participate and/or receive materials.
- Most, but not all, classes are recorded. Please confirm in advance of class if you will be relying on the recording.
The school reserves the right to cancel an event or class due to low enrollment, inclement weather or other circumstances that would make the event or class non-viable. Public class participants will be notified via email and may elect to receive a full refund less a 5% non refundable registration fee, a class credit, or admission to another class, pending availability.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

Sorry to say but we had a terrible experience. We purchased all of the needed ingredients and were fully prepared. The teacher was fine except she was going too fast and we couldn’t keep up. We were noticeably struggling and she didn’t stop long enough to ask if we needed help. There were only 4 kids in the class so we thought we would get a bit more guidance.
Unfortunately, we had to throw out our cookie mix and all of the other ingredients that werent properly done and left the class midway. There was no acknowledgement of our absence by the teacher or even a follow up email.
Sadly it was a miss for us.
