Malorie received her Statistics MS and Economics MA from the University of California, Irvine after earning an Economics BS and Mathematics Minor from Arizona State University. With a life mission of spreading the love of learning, Malorie has a decade of teaching experience including SAT/GRE instructor for The Princeton Review, campus tutor at ASU, and teaching assistant at UC Irvine. While earning her degrees, Malorie conducted research in Behavioral Economics under the guidance of Dan Ariely, performed original research in Economics of Education, and collaborated with the FDA for research in Phase III clinical trials. After graduate school, Malorie moved to Brooklyn to work as a Data Scientist/Statistician with Amplify Education Inc. At Amplify, she worked primarily with R, Python, SQL, and Bash to engineer data-conversion pipelines, automate reports, and develop machine learning solutions for complex analytical problems. 

After returning to California, Malorie has been working with the consulting team Purseia Inc. on data science solutions for companies such as HBO, Paramount, and Disney ABC. She also works as a Freelance Data Scientist and has been hired by companies such as Anheuser-Busch to find business insights in click-stream data acquired from mobile web applications.
