Description

Discover fundamental blacksmithing techniques applicable to a wide variety of metalworking projects. In this hands-on course, you'll hand forge a 3/8-inch steel rod into a functional hook, selecting from multiple decorative end options, including a leaf design, fish tail scroll, or flattened shape with a drilled hole for wall hanging. You'll develop skills using fire and anvil to create a practical piece suitable for hanging hats, keys, or other items.

Provided Equipment:

  • Safety glasses and work gloves in medium and large sizes

Recommended Items to Bring:

  • Water bottle and work apron, if available

Recommended Attire:

  • Comfortable, heat-resistant clothing such as jeans or cotton sweatpants; a light long-sleeved shirt; and closed-toe shoes or boots

Refund Policy

Purchases are non-refundable.

There is a $35 transfer fee and a 4 business days notice is required, otherwise, tuition is forfeited.

If a class does not fill or needs to be changed, we will transfer or reschedule as soon as possible.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
