Description

In this foundational blacksmithing course, you will learn essential forging techniques, safety protocols, and the core principles of effective hammering and metal work. Our instructors teach the "3 P's" of forging: precision, power, and productivity, with our students adding a fourth principle, patience.

During this workshop, you will forge a practical kitchen tool: a cheese knife featuring a blade on one side and decorative twist and curl details on the opposite end. This hands-on project allows you to apply fundamental blacksmithing skills while creating a functional artwork you can use and treasure.

Items Provided:

  • Safety glasses and work gloves in medium and large sizes

Items to Bring:

  • A water bottle for hydration and a work apron, if you have one available

Recommended Attire:

  • Wear comfortable clothing such as jeans or cotton sweatpants, a lightweight long-sleeved shirt, and closed-toed shoes or boots

Refund Policy

Purchases are non-refundable.

There is a $35 transfer fee and a 4 business days notice is required, otherwise, tuition is forfeited.

If a class does not fill or needs to be changed, we will transfer or reschedule as soon as possible.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
