Southeastern Railway Museum admission tickets should be purchased directly on site upon arrival, with the exception of certain special events and ticketed functions, which may have alternative purchasing arrangements.
You will be instructed to meet your instructor at the museum's ticket office at the start of the class.

Each Composition in the Field class begins with an introductory presentation delivered by one of our experienced and knowledgeable instructors. Following this introduction, you and your fellow students take a guided walking tour through one of a selection of diverse and photogenic locations featured across the extensive network of 20 plus cities served by Digital Photo Academy. Our photography locations offer street photography opportunities, magnificent building interiors, colorful farmers' markets, zoo and wildlife subjects, beautiful natural landscapes, and many other compelling photographic subjects. The sample photographs included throughout our website represent a balanced selection of both student work and instructor photography, captured across numerous different venues and distinctive cities throughout the United States and Canada.
You will have fun and enjoy your three-hour session, develop the ability to shoot strategically and with intention, capture more interesting and visually compelling photographs, and leave with lasting knowledge to improve your photographic work in the future. Whether you're on vacation, photographing at a birthday celebration, or simply exploring your hometown, you'll apply these foundational skills everywhere you go.
Please note that if a class must be cancelled due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control, we will be happy to work with you to reschedule your session. If you need to cancel and require a new class date, please contact us directly. A $25 transfer fee will be imposed without a 3-day notice before the scheduled class date.
