Colorado Cardiac CPR is offering a comprehensive BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR skills course available for both initial certification and recertification candidates. Upon successful completion of both the cognitive examination and practical skills assessment, students receive an official AHA course completion card that remains valid for two years.
This hybrid course combines online learning with in-person instruction and is suitable for both new certification seekers and those renewing their credentials.
Note: No textbook is required for this course.
Step 1: Online Course Component (BLS for the Healthcare Provider Online Part 1)
- Web-based, self-directed learning using case-based scenarios and interactive lessons to teach single-rescuer and team-based basic life support techniques
- Upon completing the online portion, you will schedule and attend an in-person skills session with a certified instructor
Step 2: In-Person Skills Session with Instructor
- Bring your online BLS Certification of Completion to class
- Duration: Approximately one hour, depending on individual skill level and proficiency
Certification Upon Completion
- American Heart Association official certification, valid for two years
- You will receive your eCard certificate shortly after successfully completing the course
- Course accreditation provided by the American Heart Association
School Notes: All of the courses that we have students sign up for through CourseHorse are skills sessions. Skills sessions require that the student complete an online testing portion through the American Heart Association, that online testing portion is a separate charge from our class fee for facilitating the skills session in the class room.
We offer full provider classes that are all done in class without the need to complete an online test before the class starts.
