Colorado Cardiac CPR and First Aid offers a comprehensive Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) training program delivered over two full days, totaling 16 hours of intensive instruction.
Day one consists of classroom-based lectures introducing you to essential TECC concepts and protocols. Day two transitions to practical, hands-on training where participants develop real-world emergency response skills.
The field instruction component provides an immersive, realistic learning environment designed to prepare you for high-stress situations. You'll practice emergency casualty care techniques in scenarios that incorporate a variety of realistic training elements, including:
- simulated gunfire and combat conditions
- tactical smoke effects to create fog and obscured visibility
- strobe lighting to simulate disorienting environments
- explosive pyrotechnic effects for added realism
- simulated injuries and blood effects for authentic casualty management practice
Upon successful completion of this two-day training course, you will earn a TECC certification valid for four years through the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT), along with 16 continuing education credit hours through the Certified Ambulance Personnel Continuing Education (CAPCE) program.
School Notes: All of the courses that we have students sign up for through CourseHorse are skills sessions. Skills sessions require that the student complete an online testing portion through the American Heart Association, that online testing portion is a separate charge from our class fee for facilitating the skills session in the class room.
We offer full provider classes that are all done in class without the need to complete an online test before the class starts.
