Description

Welcome to Mandarin language learning. This introductory course is specifically designed for students with little to no background in Mandarin Chinese. Our experienced instructors provide comprehensive guidance through each stage of your learning journey. You will be introduced to Mandarin tones, pinyin (the romanized representation of Chinese), and essential conversation basics. Upon completing this beginning level, you will have the opportunity to continue your studies through additional courses designed to help you achieve your language learning goals.

Course Structure and Approach:

Our Mandarin classes meet once weekly for ninety minutes. We employ a balanced approach combining formal grammar instruction and structured language foundations with interactive, conversational methods designed to promote dialogue and vocabulary development among learners. The primary emphasis across all group classes remains conversation and practical communication skills. Whether you have questions or need support, our team is always available to assist you. Remote Learning

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.

Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

Refund Policy

In order to receive a full refund less 5% cancellation fee, you must do so at least 8 business days before the class start date.
Any subsequent withdrawal from a contracted course, for whatever reason, will result in forfeiture of the total cost of enrollment.

If you are in a class and cannot continue, please notify us of your situation as soon as possible so we can work with you to find a solution. We cannot credit you for classes you missed before notifying us or for a class scheduled to occur on the day you contact us.

If you miss a class during a 12-week enrollment, you automatically get a 13th consecutive bonus class added to your enrollment!

If you are unable to attend the 13th consecutive class, you forfeit your make-up lesson. Only the 12-week enrollment comes with a bonus make-up class.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
