Playing music with other people is one of the greatest gifts of learning the guitar! This class builds upon the amazing foundation gained from our beginner guitar curriculum. We expand our knowledge of chords and triads, improv, and lead playing while learning our favorite songs.
Each session we will pick songs we love, deconstruct the elements of each guitar part, and use this knowledge to create a part that works within the group. Our goal by the end of the class is to be able to piece together all of our parts and take them to our virtual/online recording studio.
Prerequisites:
This class is ideal for guitarists that are comfortable with open chords, barre chords, basic pentatonic scales, rudimentary recording capabilities, and most importantly, love learning new songs and working with a team!
Note:
Classes with low enrollment will be cancelled two days in advance. Be sure to sign up for your favorite classes before then to reserve your spot!
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
