Class Description

Description

Create a Business Plan for Your Handmade Business is designed to help aspiring and established makers turn their creative talents into a structured, goal-oriented business. Whether you create handmade jewelry, candles, skincare products, artwork, clothing, home décor, accessories, or other handcrafted goods, this class will help you develop a practical business plan that supports your vision and long-term growth.

This class is divided into two learning sections. Part 1 is a one-hour live virtual stream session that introduces the fundamental concepts of business planning, provides theoretical instruction, and includes a question-and-answer session. Students will explore the essential components of a business plan and learn how to connect their creative ideas with business goals, customer needs, pricing strategies, marketing, and financial planning.

Part 2 is a self-paced online learning experience. Students will log into their Peach Academy student account and complete four course modules designed to expand their understanding of business planning. Through guided lessons, practical exercises, and planning activities, students will work toward developing a business plan tailored to their handmade products, target market, available resources, and personal goals.

By completing both sections, students will gain a clearer understanding of how to organize their business ideas, identify opportunities, plan for expenses and revenue, and create a roadmap for building a sustainable handmade business.
