This bootcamp covers the page layout skills behind books, magazines, and brochures. You set up documents correctly from the start, then work through threading text across frames, importing and fitting photographs, defining color, and controlling type with paragraph and character styles, nested styles, parent pages, baseline grids, and hyphenation settings. These are the details that separate a layout that merely looks acceptable from one that holds together across dozens of pages.
The course is built around five deliverables: a multi-page book, a magazine spread, a tri-fold brochure, a restaurant menu, and a business card. Each one introduces a different layout problem, so you finish with a range of work rather than five variations on one idea. You also learn professional typesetting habits and how to package and export print-ready PDF/X files that a commercial printer will accept without corrections.
