Description

In this online course, participants learn the fundamentals of AutoCAD to prepare 2D drawings for architecture, interior design, mechanical & structural engineering, and other design fields.

Topics include the AutoCAD drawing interface; display commands; CAD tools and drawing setup, including scale coordinate systems, snaps, and grips, basic draw and edit commands, layers, text, blocks, modify commands, plotting, and printing basics.

Includes an AutoCAD educational license for Windows or Mac.

Computer literacy and basic skills are required.
Good English Language skills necessary

Remote Learning

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.

Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

Refund Policy

Tuition refunds are issued under the following conditions:

95% refund when a written withdrawal notice is received 2 business days prior to the first class meeting.
80% refund if a written notice is received 2 business days before the second class meeting.
No refunds are given after the 2nd class meeting.

Please note: For classes less than 200 hours, there is a fee of $25 charged for withdrawals once classes begin.

If you give a withdrawal notice by telephone or otherwise withdraw without written notification, you will not receive a refund.

The school reserves the right to cancel any course or modify the schedule. This can also include cancellation at the first class meeting. In the event of such a cancellation, you will receive a full refund of all tuition and fees.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
