Description

Jackson Pollock was a pioneering American artist and a leading figure of the Abstract Expressionist movement. Renowned for his monumental drip paintings, he transformed the act of painting into a physical performance, challenging conventional artistic techniques and redefining the possibilities of modern art.

In this hands-on workshop, learn all about Pollock’s turbulent life story and the birth of his signature drip painting technique. Then, create your own action painting with the same materials and techniques used by Pollock for his original works.

This is a beginner-friendly workshop taught by PhDs, subject matter experts and professional artists. All art supplies are included.

I really enjoyed this class. It made me get loose and be messy with art in a big studio space. I didn’t have to worry about making the painting perfect but just have fun with it. I also appreciated the BYOB addition to the class.
