Description

Chicago steaks are renowned worldwide for their sizzling, thick, and juicy perfection. Join us in this hands-on class as we recreate the classic steakhouse experience and prepare an iconic dinner from start to finish.

Menu:

Grilled Beef Tenderloin Steaks with Herb Compound Butter
Creamed Spinach with Gruyere Cheese
Herb-Roasted Potato Wedges
Molten Chocolate Lava Cakes

Skills covered in class:

Selecting and grilling steak to perfection
Determining beef doneness using multiple methods
Creating compound butter for enhanced flavor
Preparing classic béchamel sauce
Selecting and roasting potatoes for optimal texture
Working with fresh herbs and complementary flavors
Selecting quality chocolate and melting techniques

In this hands-on class, students will be paired in groups of three to five and work together as a team to prepare the recipes.

Refund Policy

All classes have a three (03) day cancellation policy, except Culinary Boot Camps 1 and 2 which have a two-week cancellation policy.
You must email [email protected] to cancel an existing reservation.
If you cancel a class other than Culinary Boot Camps 1 & 2 more than 3 days in advance and have paid with a credit card, you will receive a refund to your card, minus the 15% administrative fee which is non-refundable and non-transferable.
If you cancel more than 3 days in advance and have paid with a gift card, you will receive an account credit valid toward future classes, minus the administrative fee.
If you cancel within three days of your class, you will receive an account credit equal to 50% of the class price less 15% administrative fee, which is non-refundable and non-transferable. This credit is valid for one year.
If you are unable to attend, you are also welcome to send a guest in your place.
Culinary Boot Camps 1 & 2 have a 2-week cancellation policy so any cancellations before 2-weeks will receive a refund minus the administrative fee.
No credits will be given for cancellations within 2 weeks.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
