Description

In this beginner to intermediate level metal-stamping workshop you learn different stamping techniques to make unique pieces of jewelry! With a few charms and metal-stamping tools you can take your jewelry to the next level by adding designs and letters. Along with taking home two pieces of hand-stamped jewelry that you get to make in the workshop, you will also gain the knowledge and practice needed to create at home. Maddie, a metalsmith and the creator of Folk Dreams, talks various metals, materials, metal-stamping practices, where to find supplies and easy at home tips for personalizing your jewelry.

You will learn:

How to stamp on metal
How to polish and protect your work
How to work with pliers and findings
How to assemble your pieces into two finished pieces (one pair of copper earrings and one silver pendent necklace)

Skill requirements:
No previous jewelry making experience required.

Material requirements:
A $15 supply fee will be assessed by the instructor the day of the workshop, and all supplies will be provided.

Refund Policy

We require notification of cancellation 1 week prior to scheduled date for a refund. Less than 1 week notification will receive studio credit to be applied toward a future class, and notification less than 48 hours from scheduled date will receive no credit.

Some workshops require a minimum number of registered students. If we don't meet that minimum, we will contact you at least 48 hours in advance and will offer you your choice of a full refund or studio credit.
