About Series One: Foundations of Performance Series One is the ideal launchpad for young performers eager to take center stage. Whether you're just beginning or looking to sharpen your skills, this dynamic series builds the essential tools that every great performer needs. Over six weeks, students train in one, two, or all three core disciplines: Acting, Musical Theater, and Improv. Classes are guided by professional instructors who know how to bring out the best in each student. At the end of the series, students share their growth in a lively, family-friendly performance of scenes, songs, and improv games in an exciting opportunity to shine in front of friends, family, and peers.
Refund and Withdrawal Policy
Adult Intensives: Withdrawal 14 days or more prior to the start of class: 75% refund. Withdrawal 7–13 days before start: 50% refund. Withdrawal fewer than 7 days before start: No refund. No refunds are given once a class has started.
Teen Intensives: Withdrawal 14 days or more before the start of a session: 75% refund. Withdrawal 1–13 days before: 50% refund. No refunds are available after the first class. If a student is dismissed for disciplinary reasons, no refund will be issued.
Cancellations by Provider
LACAE reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any workshop or class due to low enrollment, instructor illness, or unforeseen circumstances. In the event of cancellation, participants may: Receive a full refund, or Apply the credit toward another LACAE offering within one year.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
