Description

Knowing how and why to soften your edges and create more gradual transitions between objects allows you to create greater depth and mood in your paintings.

We will paint a still life or landscape (your choice) as we practice the many painting techniques and types of brushwork that allows you to create more gradual transitions.

We will look at the work of Rose Hilton, Claude Monet, and other experts of this style for inspiration.

For all levels from beginner to expert.

Remote Learning

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.

Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

Refund Policy

We ask for 48 hours notice for all painting workshops, painting parties and events if you would like to cancel and receive a refund. If you need to cancel with less than 48 hours notice we will try to find another, similar event for you to attend.

For weekly classes we cannot refund once the class has started unless there are extenuating circumstances. We ask that you provide at least a week's notice prior to the start of class if you would like to cancel a weekly class.

For children's camps we require a week's notice if you wish to receive a full refund or there is a $100 cancellation fee.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
