We will look to two of our greatest contemporary painters - Danielle McKinney and Salman Toor - for inspiration on how to make a powerful painting focused on a bit of bright, saturated color in a sea of dull and moody colors. You will leave with your own beautiful painting and a deeper understanding of color saturation and some great artists who use color saturation as their main focus, like Manet, Watteau, Louis Fratino and more!
We will have flowers to inspire you, but you can also bring in an image that inspires you of a portrait, figure or landscape to paint.
This is a great workshop for painters of all levels!
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
We ask for 48 hours notice for all painting workshops, painting parties and events if you would like to cancel and receive a refund. If you need to cancel with less than 48 hours notice we will try to find another, similar event for you to attend.
For weekly classes we cannot refund once the class has started unless there are extenuating circumstances. We ask that you provide at least a week's notice prior to the start of class if you would like to cancel a weekly class.
For children's camps we require a week's notice if you wish to receive a full refund or there is a $100 cancellation fee.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
