Marylou Carrico Tietz

Teaches at Lamaze International - DC Chapter

Marylou has over 30 years experience teaching childbirth and baby care classes in multiple DC area hospitals, birthing centers, corporate wellness programs, women’s shelters, high schools and even the county detention center. She most enjoys the intimacy of teaching in her home studio in Bethesda where she offers a 2-day weekend class or in her unique Baby Bed ‘n Breakfast classes in Bethany Beach where she offers an overnight stay in her beach house coupled with breakfast, lunch and private instruction. Her small group classes are designed to instill confidence in her students so that they can have a positive birth experience. Marylou has served as President of the DC Chapter of Lamaze International since 1995.
