JOYCELYN MEDINA VOCAL TEACHER. WHEN I JOINED HER CLASS IN 2022 THROUGH 10 2023. IT WAS GROUP SINGING. BUT I ASKED HER COULD I SING THE SONGS THAT I LOVE. SHE SAID YES. THIS WEEK SHE WENT BACK ON HER WORD. SHE REFUSED TO LET ME SING MY SONGS,,,I HAD TO SING THE SONGS SHE SELECTED OR I COULD NOT SING AT ALL. PRETTY DIRTY SINCE I PAID $180 TO SING AT ALL SESSIONS. =========================== THE OTHER STUDENTS WERE COMPLAINING ABOUT ME. NOW WHY WAS IT BOTHERING THEM WHAT I WAS DOING. I FEEL LIKE ALL STUDENTS WERE SITTING AROUND A CAMP FIRE SINGING ''CUM BA YA AND STUDENTS HAVE TO SING THE SAME BORING SONGS FOR ALL 4 SESSIONGS. SONGS LIKE LET'S CALL THE WHOLE THING OFF. YOU SAY EITHER AND I SAY EITHER. BORING, BORING. HER VOCAL TECHNIQUE NEEDS SOME WORK. --------------------------- SINCE SHE GAVE ME PERMISSION TO SING A SONG OF MY CHOICE SINCE 2022 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 2023, AND SINCE I PAID $180 TO SING A SONG OF MY CHOICE. Nice, small group. Enthusiastic teacher who provides opportunities to perform locally. Class seems to be ongoing though so you never start with a new cohort. So as for learning about pitch, and the more technical side of singing, the class is more about practicing songs to perform. Hour goes by quickly. But overall pleasant experience. -
