Description

Instructed Drawing Night at the Met focuses on charcoal pencil drawing through close study of the museum’s Greek and Roman figure sculptures. Our instructor will guide students in developing technical control of charcoal pencils while working from these classical forms. After a brief demonstration, students will create charcoal drawings throughout the gallery under the instructor’s guidance.

Materials:

Charcoal Pencils only (HB and 4B)
Small & Medium blending stump
Kneaded eraser
Eraser
Drawing paper

i don’t know what i was expecting but for $50 more than we got. the instructor was nice enough but the instruction was little more than a couple tips and then later stopping by while i was drawing alone and saying good job and telling me the kneaded eraser could be kneaded. just go to the MET by yourself with some pencils and paper and practice on your own or with a friend. Free.
