Experience an enjoyable day of flower design instruction with our Sampler course, designed specifically for individuals interested in exploring our school and returning home with substantial knowledge about the field of flower design. The course features three rewarding projects that showcase design styles ranging from American to European approaches. All required flowers and containers are provided as part of the course. In this engaging class, you will learn valuable techniques for extending the life of cut flowers so they remain fresh and beautiful for weeks rather than days. Every participant leaves with all three gorgeous flower arrangements they created during class.

By the end of your class time, you will have designed numerous flower arrangements, creating such an abundance that you will practically require a shopping basket to transport them all home with you! This provides an excellent introduction to the exciting world of flower design. You'll study some of the most effective and proven techniques directly from Michael Gaffney, the same expert who has been featured on the Today Show.

What Your Course Includes:

  • 3 different projects showcasing American, English, and contemporary design styles

Refund Policy

In-person Workshop Classes

  • Refund policy – refunds less a 5% nonrefundable registration fee for deposits are given within 10 days after registration.
  • If you cannot make your chosen date, your registration does not expire and it may be used at a future class date.
  • If you wish to transfer from the original date a $60 transfer fee will be added to any enrollment of a future class.

The Ultimate Online Floral Class

  • Due to potential copyright infringement, there are no refunds on the Ultimate Online Flower Design Class.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

    Honestly an all around wonderful experience and totally worth it. What a great memory!

    It was a fun class to take. However, it was very crowded (about 30 people) so you were left to your own most of the time. After the demonstration, you went to a station to create the floral arrangement. There were many assistants to replace missing floral pieces but they did not offer suggestions or guidance. The instructor stayed on the other side of the room and I believe offered assistance to them, but he did not come to our side. But I LOVED it and would recommend it, and hope you have a smaller class than I had.

    Last night, I had an amazing workshop @The Floral Design Sampler with Michael Gaffney. I learned so much from This Master, I can not wait to take more workshops with him. Michael was such a pleasure! We even went home with gifts besides our completed projects! WOW!

    The class was very interesting. Michael is very knowledgable. He gave us practical tips for arranging flowers and making them last. The flowers he provided were beautiful and did, indeed last a long time. I recommend this class. FYI - please bring $20 with you to buy his book.

    The flower design teacher for this class was fantastic. He explained each of the three flower designs that we arranged in class very well. He had such an outgoing way about his self. I love that he explained flower design in a way I could understand. Would I take this class again? Yes. For sure I would. Excellent class!

    I loved that I got to bring home 3 different arrangements that I made and a beautiful book. However I felt the class was more about how much money the instructor made doing flower arrangements for weddings etc., and name dropping and all the money he made and how fabulous he is and did I mention all the money. I would do this class again but maybe with a different instructor.

    I liked the class the teacher was helpful and showed and gave easy directions how to make floral arrangements. I think they needed to have better nippers to cut the flowers, with otherwise it was a fun class. Also I think the money situations should be taken care of in advance of the class, or at least in the beginning not after the instructor starts talking about the class
