Raveneau makes pure, age-worthy, terroir-driven wines that are capable of matching, or even topping, the best sites on the Côte de Beaune in complexity, texture, and longevity. Raveneau is still considered the greatest Domaine in Chablis but the wines are getting harder and harder to find, mature examples in particular.
This is classic mineral-rich and racy Chablis from the region's top Domaine. Harvesting is done manually, and picking is generally done early in order to retain natural acidity and freshness. The juice is fermented in stainless steel tanks then matured for 18 months before bottling in large oak feuillettes with an average age of 7-8 years. This comprehensive tasting of Raveneau’s finest terroir will be hard to duplicate. We hope you can join us.
