Description

Our 1-Day Tween Musical Theatre Class explores:

ensemble building
foundational elements of storytelling
working with an accompanist
students will rehearse and perform an ensemble number

Through games and exercises, students are introduced to collaborative play and ensemble building skills. Students then build upon these skills as they explore acting and performance techniques by staging an ensemble number from musical theatre repertoire.

This class teaches our specific approach to storytelling, and introduces students to the same tools that our adult professional actors work with. We believe that to act is to play and that students learn the most in an atmosphere of relaxed positive reinforcement.

What makes The Barrow Group different from many other studios in NYC is that all of our teachers have gone through an intensive teacher training program. So when your child takes a class with us, the teacher has trained for years at The Barrow Group in our specific approach.

Drop off is as early as 8:30am.
Lunch break is 12:15-12:45pm. Lunch is provided.
Pick up is by 5pm.

Refund Policy

All payments are non-refundable (unless the school cancels the class).

Commitment is for the duration of the session. There are no credits or refunds for individual missed classes. If you discontinue any class before the ending date of the session, you forfeit your fee.

If you need to cancel a full class session (the full 6, 8, or 10 week class) for any reason, you must notify us by email at [email protected] at least 8 business days before the registered class start date, and we will apply a credit to your account for a future class. Credits are valid for one-year.
If a student wishes to transfer to a different class, they must notify us by email at [email protected] at least 8 business days before the first day of the registered class. No transfers will be allowed after this.

A student may not transfer to a different class once a class has begun.

The school reserve the right to change teachers at any time.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
