Young Broadway Thespians Advanced Acting for Legit Stage (Ages 8-17)

Every agent, every casting director, every producer… they all want one thing: A GREAT ACTOR. Whether you’re reading from a script, singing 16 bars of a song, or learning a dance combination, the ones who land the roles are the ones who can tell a great story. But there’s a big problem: it cannot be faked. Professionals can see right through an actor who is not portraying honest emotions and authentic, spontaneous moments. This is where ATNY’s Broadway Pros – the actual people who you see behind the table – step in.

In this weekly Workshop, you will be taken on a hypersonic ride through dramatic and comedic scenes and/or songs, bringing them far past the average young actor’s performance, and elevating them to new, powerful, and compelling heights, completely unique from everyone else. You will do this through massively fun techniques of spontaneity, creativity, and discovery with a focus on the best stagecraft you can imagine. And the results are often mind-blowing. This is LEGIT acting.

If you’re ready to move past mediocrity, stand out from the crowd, and be truly recognized as a great and exciting young actor/performer, then this is most certainly the Workshop for you. We can’t wait for you to join us on this thrilling acting adventure.
