Spanish Intermediate

Our Level 3 course is for students who are familiar with the basics of Spanish grammar and are fairly conversant in the present, past, and future tenses.

Together, we'll focus on enhancing fluency and studying advanced grammar including:

• Review and comparison of the different past tenses
• The present and past conditional tenses
• Comparatives and superlatives
• The imperative tense
• Introduction to the subjunctive

Each week's lesson includes in-class conversation practice, based on topics students prepare in advance.

For Classes on Cobble Hill: Each student will also be expected to give at least one five-minute presentation, on a topic of their choosing, before the end of the course.

Note: The beginner, advanced beginner and intermediate courses follow the same textbook (not included in the course price but available to students for the discounted price of around $18).
