Humans have used oils for thousands of years, for different reasons and purposes—from cooking to healing to stress relief—oils are truly nature’s medicine! “A for Aromatherapy” is a course that provides students with a broad introduction and general overview about the science of aromatherapy essential oils. This course is intended for people who are curious and interested in learning more about essential oils and how they work. Through a live, online lecture and class discussion, students will be provided with a brief history of essential oils, along with an understanding of how oils can be used for healing purposes, and how to set intentions with oils. This course will provide information for how oils can be used for stress relief, mental focus and clarity, and emotional healing. Students will also learn how certain oils can be used to ease physical aches and bodily concerns. Online learning students will participate in active discussions with their fellow students and the instructor. Please note: We will not make any oils in this class, this is more of an introductory course to the science of aromatherapy oils.
This live class will be taught online via Zoom and will be structured as a one-day, 2 hour course.
