What you'll learn in this music performance class:
This course is designed to develop our musical perception skills to function at the same level as our instrumental and vocal abilities, thereby achieving a more balanced, dynamic musicianship.
Staple musical elements include: melodic and harmonic intervals, modes and scales, triad and seventh arpeggios and chords, chord progressions and core voiceleading principles. Using comprehensive handouts with companion audio files, a strong emphasis is placed on the voice for mastering these elements. Basic sightsinging skills are taught to develop vocal agility and more rapid assimilation of course materials.

Refund Policy
Once students commit to participating at the workshop we hire a teacher and block the space for the class. The NYJW commits to the payment of the teacher and the studio rental and we therefore are unable to offer refunds.
We try to keep the costs for the students as low as possible and we do offer the opportunity to participate in one of our classes before signing up.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
