Description
What you'll learn in this music performance class:
Ukulele from scratch is for the absolute beginner. We will review tuning, how to play basic chords, strumming, rhythm, dynamics, and how to read uke chord charts, with a focus on singing while playing. Every class will involve time to play together and learning uke jam etiquette. We will review the care of your instrument, changing strings, and finding resources. Once you have completed this class you will feel comfortable playing in a group setting, playing a whole song, including beginnings and endings.
You will need a ukulele and a tuner. Recommended: a strap and the book The Daily Ukulele. If you do not have any of these items let us know and we can help you purchase them.
Refund Policy
- Full refund less 5% cancellation fee or full credit for another session of classes are available until 4 business days before your 1st class begins.
- If you cancel your registration 2 business days before your 1st or 2nd class begins, a partial prorated school credit can be given.
- If your class has met 3 times or it is less than 24 hours before your 3rd class, no credit is available.
The school reserves the right to cancel a class due to insufficient registration.
If the school cancel a class due to low enrollment or other reasons, you will be notified by email and/or phone before the class start date, and we will issue school credit. If you would like a refund, you must contact us at [email protected] to arrange for a refund. In the event of a canceled class, we would love to help you find an alternate instrument to learn!
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
