In this brand new masterclass, students will learn to formulate natural and herbal skincare and haircare grooming essentials for men. These products are spa and top-of-the-line quality, perfect to add to your indie beauty business or to make and use yourself or give as gifts to family members and friends. Fall is the perfect time to learn to make essentials for male grooming to give as gifts or create giftsets to add to your holiday lineup of products.
This class will cover theory and formulation of products for men. By the end of class students will gain knowledge and understanding of how to formulate a variety of skin, beard and haircare products for various skin types and ethnicities. We will discuss how to tweak formulas to address other concerns.
We'll be making four fabulous face products. Students will take home products we make in class from scratch:
knowledge and experience of 23 years as a plant-based skincare product formulator. Marla will also discuss best packaging options, labeling requirements, pricing and marketing suggestions for your anti-aging beauty products.
This is intended for barbers, hair stylists, salon owners, aromatherapists, massage therapists, spa owners, handmade soap and indie beauty entrepreneurs and for anyone who wants to make incredibly good-for-your-body products. No prior experience is necessary.
This class is open to beginners through advanced beauty makers. Students will receive a class handout that includes instructions, formulas and a valuable list of Marla's favorite places to buy materials, supplies and equipment.
