Master the core Excel functions in this one-day course. Learn calculations and data entry. Apply formatting to text and cells to make your spreadsheet scannable and visually appealing. In this hands-on training, you will learn all the basics to use Microsoft Excel as your primary data processing tool. You'll produce polished and print ready spreadsheets while learning tricks to accelerate your workflow.

Prerequisites: Prior experience with Excel is not required; however, attendees must be comfortable with computer basics.

Class was fine but it was advertised as an excel for Mac class. I was the only Mac user in a class of 9 or 10 ppl and the instructor started by saying he wasn’t a Mac expert and that he would just do his best. He meant well, but I feel it was misleading for the company to call the class that name and then not tell me in advance that I wouldn’t get specific instruction for excel w my Mac. So I feel I could have gotten much more out of the class than I did, despite having learned a lot about excel in general.

It is a very beginning Excel Class which is great, but for some reason I had thought that I would learn more shortcuts and have a general review of more things. That is probably more my misunderstanding than anything else. Overall the class is well paced and goes by quickly.

The course was simple but helpful. It helped me understand better some of the things I had been working with in spreadsheets that others had created, but didn't know how to do myself. Now I have the ability to do those things as well! The topics included Navigation and entering data, Creating content, Formatting, Printing, Workbook management, Managing databases with Tables, and Charts.
