Alexandra Berger

Teaches at Element Natural Healing Arts

Alexandra Berger came to gyrokinesis via her BFA in dance at the Joffrey Ballet School/New School University, where she earned her degree in 2003. As a professional dancer, she has always returned to this work to balance and relieve her body from its daily stresses. She began teaching in 2005, and continues to renew her belief in this system and its benefits on the human body. As a dancer, she has worked with Pat Catterson, Merce Cunningham, Matthew Mohr, Dušan Týnek, as well as other notable dancers. In the gyrotonic world she has studied closely with master trainers Juergen Bamberger, Hilary Cartwright, and Young-Ah Kim, and also teaches out of fluid fitness, in Manhattan.
