Clare started Hartshorn Studio in Williamsburg in 2015 in memory of her grandmother and a dear friend, both of whom were immensely creative and inspiring to her. She first discovered my passion for textile and fiber art as a chid, but it wasn’t until her 40’s that she dove head first into developing her skills in macrame, tapestry weaving, latch hook weaving, and needlework. Being a maker in Brooklyn has given her so much inspiration, support and a real sense of community with the myriad other crafters, makers and creative people who populate our city.
