Dan Baum

Teaches at Element Natural Healing Arts

Dan Baum is a Tai Chi instructor and founder of Eastern Village Arts. He firmly believes that all individuals can benefit from training their minds and bodies to develop awareness, ease of movement, and overall health. Dan began his training in 1992 and has sought out and trained with Tai Chi masters and teachers in other disciplines from New York, Japan, China, and elsewhere. He has combined his traditional martial arts training with modern movement arts and meditational practices. His own teaching techniques are adapted to the unique needs of Western practitioners. He now offers Tai Chi in private, class, corporate, and retreat settings. Dan completed his undergraduate work at Columbia University, and went on to receive a Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center. Daniel is deeply indebted to all the wonderful teachers he has been blessed to encounter and learn from during his life.
