Jenna Zabala

Teaches at Element Natural Healing Arts

Jenna Zabala is a nationally and NYS licensed massage therapist. She is a graduate of the Swedish institute in new york city where she earned an associate’s degree in occupational studies and also holds a BFA in dance from the city college of New York (ccny). Jenna specializes in Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial, neuromuscular techniques, thai bodywork, shiatsu and sports massage. Jenna is also an alexander technique and melt method practitioner. She has studied ohashiatsu at the ohashi institute; Thai yoga bodywork with renowned instructors Jonas Westring and Michael Buck; and is a nationally certified teacher of the alexander technique through the american center for the alexander technique’s (acat) three-year training program. In addition, Jenna is also a teacher of kundalini yoga as taught by yogi bhajan through golden bridge yoga nyc with gurmukh kaur khalsa. She has had the good fortune of studying in india where she further deepened her yoga and meditation practice. Jenna is also a melt method practitioner who trained under its creator, Sue Hitzmann. Jenna has a passion for movement, bodywork, yoga, dance, and teaching. She draws on all her interests and on her appreciation for the powerful mind/body/spirit connection, incorporating a natural, intuitive and holistic approach throughout her multi-disciplinary work. Her intention in each session is to treat the whole person body, mind, and spirit and to educate her clients in order to give them more informed choices as they make their lifestyle decisions.
