Liza Uma Pollock

Teaches at Element Natural Healing Arts

Liza Uma Pollock has been practicing yoga for 14 years and teaching for 8 years. She studied hatha yoga at the Integral Yoga Institute and earned 3 teacher training certifications there, including pre and post natal. She earned her master's degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, or and is a licensed acupuncturist in both New York and Oregon. Liza's yoga classes are taught in a meditative manner, guiding the student's awareness from within. Liza combines her knowledge of Chinese Medicine with her yoga training, developing well rounded classes for students of all levels. Liza's goal both in her treatments and her classes is to help bring others into their natural state of optimal physical, mental and emotional health and happiness.
