Introduction to Korean Cooking
This course was delicious, informative, and entertaining! John is a great instructor - funny, knowledgeable, and generous with his time. The space was clean and well-lit, the ingredients were laid out well, and the instructions were easy to follow. We all left with at least one dish we'd be comfortable cooking at home. I plan to take the other Korean cooking class next! -

Great time, nice people, delicious food. John was great. We would love to come back for another class and we will definitely be making these dishes at home. Highly recommend! -
Introduction to Korean Cooking
I was excited to take this beginners class to learn to make these korean dishes. Jennifer, our instructor was easy going (always had a smile on her face) and was full of information. We were taught technique and she answered our questions while we made several different dishes. I enjoyed myself immensely! I have to say that when I left the class I was walking down the street, singing in my head "I'm in heaven..." LOL Can't wait for this weekend to make pork dumplings and for the next several weekends will attempt to make another dish taught in class like the kimchi fried rice with a fried egg on top and the beef bulgogi, before I forget what I learned in class. And next month the Kimchi Jigae which I found surprisingly delicious as I'm not a fan of spicy food. I highly recommend this class especially if taken with Jennifer! -

Introduction to Korean Cooking
John was an absolute delight to work with. He is a great chef and a hilarious person. It was a class with just me, so it could have been canceled but they allowed me to take it as a one on one course, which was kind and generous. John made me feel right at home from the start and taught me all that there was to know about the delicious Korean dishes we made. -
Introduction to Korean Cooking
This was an all-around excellent class! Our instructor was fun and informative and all of the food was delicious. I can absolutely see myself making any and all of the dishes which we prepared and I love the fact that I've added a few exciting new things to my cooking repertoire. You definitely will not leave this course hungry. Though we definitely participated in the preparation of each dish, I would have perhaps liked to have been even more involved in these steps, if only because I enjoyed making this food so much. Overall, though, this was a great experience and I would highly recommend it! -

Korean Restaurant Favorites
This class was absolutely, hands down AMAZING. This was my second CourseHorse class and I learned WAYYY more in this one than i did in the first cooking class. Our chef showed us so many tips and tricks, and the meals we were learned were both easy/beginner and DELICIOUS! I would recommend taking classes from this school 100%! -
Introduction to Korean Cooking
The menu and our chef made tonight magical! It was a pleasure. -
Introduction to Korean Cooking
Fun class! The instructor was great and we learned a lot--moreso about general cooking techniques and best practices than Korean food in particular, but the instructor was a great resource and answered every question that the group asked. The class size was perfect and made for a fun group of people, including an enjoyable group meal at the end. There was less hands-on cooking than I expected (more like he cooked and we were given well-planned, well-paced areas of contribution) but it was a great overall experience. A touch pricey, but if you look at it as a fun activity plus a Friday night dinner, it's not bad. Plus, the food was delicious and incredibly filling! Would definitely recommend to others as a fun date or activity. -
Introduction to Korean Cooking
Like small class size, instructor was very good and pleasant/friendly/fun, and good range/variety of dishes covered. -
Fundamental Korean Sauces
Very informative and learning experience. Material was new to me but taught in a way that was easy to learn. I will attend another class. -
Winter Stews
amazing class! -
Winter Stews
Delicious home-made food! Love the private setting and intimacy of the course. -
Time to Kimchi
The instructor really wanted to make it a memorable experience for us. She was well prepared and she answered and addressed all our questions during the class. You can feel that she takes teaching how to make kimchi seriously. The second instructor was also very wonderful. She is more of a behind-the-scene assistant and the two of them worked seamlessly to make it a great experience for us. I will certainly attend her classes again. -
Korean Vegetarian Home Cooking
This is incorrect. I RATE THE CLASS 5 OUT OF 5 STARS! EXCELLENT CLASS & GREAT PRESENTER! The only two changes I suggest: Put out food immediately. This was a cooking class that begins at the dinner hour and you should not make us wait til 9pm to eat. Also, the presenter was the only one not wearing a name tag. She should wear a large, legible name tag so we don't have to keep looking up her name. Otherwise - great class and presenter! -
Introduction to Korean Cooking
